The Imagine International Academy of North Texas will be a public tuition-free charter school with plans to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme for grades K-5, the IB Middle Years Programme for grades 6-10, and the IB Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. 

We were awarded an open-enrollment charter by the Texas State Board of Education during the highly competitive 14th-generation charter application cycle, and were one of the top three applicants.  We are presently awaiting completion of the Texas Education Agency Legal Division's review of our charter documents, and anticipate accepting admission applications once that has been completed. 

We are hopeful that the Texas Education Agency's review process will be concluded soon, and intend to open the Academy for the 2011-2012 school year.

The Academy is open to students eligible to attend public school within our Primary Geographic Boundary comprised of Allen ISD, McKinney ISD, Lovejoy ISD, Frisco ISD, Celina ISD, Prosper ISD, Melissa ISD, and Princeton ISD. 

If there are available spaces once students within our Primary Geographic Boundary have applied, we will accept students from our Transfer Boundary comprised of Plano ISD, Anna ISD, Richardson ISD, Farmersville ISD, Blue Ridge ISD, Van Alstyne ISD, Little Elm ISD, Garland ISD, Aubrey ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Community ISD, Gunter ISD, Lake Dallas ISD, Rockwall ISD, and Pilot Point ISD.
