Special Education Teacher: Provide quality instruction in an International Baccalaureate K-12 programme for special education students. Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP) to support individual learning needs; facilitate Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings; provide targeted instruction to students; monitor student progress in relation to goals and objectives; communicate with parents, teachers and students; and maintain accurate special education records. SUPPORT STAFF POSITIONS
IT Operations Manager: Administer and operate the school’s computer servers, wired and wireless networks. Oversee installation, testing and support of all network hardware, personal computers, software, phones, printers and related school equipment. BA in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and a minimum of 3 years of work experience. Industry certifications in applicable network and/or server technology (MCSE, CCNP, Dell Proven Professional, SANS, etc) desirable. Salary range: $43,000 - $50,000, depending upon experience, plus comprehensive benefits.
School Counselor: Candidates should have a graduate degree in School Counseling, Counseling or Psychology. Additionally, candidates should have 2 – 3 years counseling or teaching experience. Duties include responsive services through consultation, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling and community referral support. Facilitate state-mandated, IB-focused counseling guidance curriculum in a K-12 environment. Utilize therapeutic strategies and interventions to foster age-appropriate social, emotional and behavioral development in students. Registered Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (part-time): Provide assistance to the school nurse during the week. Applicant must be qualified to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas and hold an active, unrestricted license. Must be CPR/BLS certified. Prior experience working with the pediatric population is preferred. Upon hire, must attain certification as a state screener for hearing, vision, and spinal screenings. Must demonstrate a genuine interest in the student population and its health needs. Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending upon experience. Up to 20 hours/week.
Receptionist (part-time): Responsible for front desk operations, answering phones, and providing assistance with administrative tasks such as attendance, data entry, filing and other clerical tasks in a timely and professional manner.
