Founded in 2012, Imagine International Academy of North Texas is an open-enrollment public charter school located in McKinney, Texas. Funded by the state of Texas, there is no tuition associated with attending the school.
We are one of less than ten schools in the United States offering the internationally-recognized college preparatory continuum of all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes (Primary Years Programme for students in grades K-5, Middle Years Programme for students in grades 6-10, and the Diploma Programme for students in grades 11-12) within a single setting at no cost to families.
Students who earn the International Baccalaureate Diploma are eligible for a minimum of 24 hours of college credit at any public institution of higher education in the state of Texas. For the 2016-2017 school year, our Diploma Programme pass rate was 80%, just above the worldwide average, and graduating seniors received over $2.4M in scholarships.
