Middle Years (Grades 6 - 10)

The Imagine International Academy of North Texas plans to offer the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) for students in grades 6-10.  We will begin the authorization process with the International Baccalaureate Organization in the spring of 2012. 
 
The IB MYP consists of eight subject groups integrated through five areas of interaction that provide a framework for learning within and across the subjects. Students are required to study their Primary Language (English), a Second Language (Spanish), Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Physical Education, and Technology.  In the final year of the IB MYP, students also engage in a personal project, which allows them to demonstrate the understandings and skills they have developed.
