Where will you be located?
We are presently in the process of finalizing the school's permanent home and anticipate making an announcement as soon as our charter contract paperwork with the Texas Education Agency has been completed.

What kind of a facility will the school have?
The school facility will contain classrooms, library/media center, cafeteria/multipurpose space, specialty classrooms/labs, administrative areas, as well as outdoor dedicated play areas for older and younger students.

Will you require a uniform?
Yes, a uniform will be required for attendance at the Academy.

Will students have to take the TAKS test?
Yes, as a public school, all students attending the school will have to take the state-mandated TAKS test. 

What about sports?
Physical Education is a part of the curriculum from K-12.  Extracurricular sports opportunities will be developed in partnership with the community and parents, based upon student interests.

How many students will there be in a class?
We will have a maximum of 25 students in a class. 

What qualifications will teachers have?
All teachers will be "highly qualified" as mandated by federal No Child Left Behind standards, and will also undergo professional development in the International Baccalaureate programs of education.
